### sec.102 Regulation-making power
The Governor in Council may make regulations under this Act.
A regulation may—
apply a provision of the Corporations Act to a distributor-retailer, with or without change; and
provide, in relation to distributor-retailers, boards, officers or employees of distributor-retailers, for any matter that the Corporations Act provides for corporations; and
provide for any matter for which a participation agreement, transfer scheme, transfer direction or the customer water and wastewater code may provide; and
provide for a right to compensation for a contravention of any of the following and how the compensation may be recovered—
a provision applied under paragraph (a) ;
a matter provided for under paragraph (b) ; and
provide for any matter connected with charges for water services and wastewater services, including, for example—
concessions; and
the process for recovering overdue charges for water services and wastewater services; and
provide for any additional matters for water approvals; and
make provision for a withdrawn council as a service provider or for a corporate entity (service provider).
A regulation mentioned in subsection (2) (b) may provide for the matter with or without change from the way the matter is dealt with under the Corporations Act .
A regulation may prescribe a penalty of no more than 20 penalty units for contravention of a regulation.

(sec.102-ssec.1) The Governor in Council may make regulations under this Act.

- (ii) a matter provided for under paragraph (b) ; and
- (e) provide for any matter connected with charges for water services and wastewater services, including, for example— (i) concessions; and (ii) the process for recovering overdue charges for water services and wastewater services; and
- (i) concessions; and
- (ii) the process for recovering overdue charges for water services and wastewater services; and
- (f) provide for any additional matters for water approvals; and
- (g) make provision for a withdrawn council as a service provider or for a corporate entity (service provider).
