### sec.8-oc.2 Subdivision
In this section—
land means land as defined in section 3 of the principal Act, being land—
under the Land Title Act 1994 ; and
within the corporation area; and
held in fee simple by the corporation, the council or other public agency, solely or jointly;
and, where the land is leased, being land subject to a lease or leases (the terms of which are all expressed to expire at the same time) which is or are registered, or lodged for registration under the Land Title Act 1994 .

Land, including the whole of a building may be subdivided into lots or into lots and common property by the registration of a leasehold building units plan.

Land comprised in a stratum lot, including part only of a building may be subdivided into lots or into lots and common property by the registration of a leasehold building units plan, but only if the building is erected on a site of land within the corporation area held in fee simple by the corporation, the council or other public agency, solely or jointly.
