### sec.76 Development or use carried out in emergency
Sections 73 , 74 and 75 do not apply to a person if—
the person starts development or a use because of an emergency endangering—
the life or health of a person; or
the structural safety of a building; and
the person gives written notice of the development or use to the corporation or council as soon as practicable after starting the development or use.

- (a) the person starts development or a use because of an emergency endangering— (i) the life or health of a person; or (ii) the structural safety of a building; and
- (i) the life or health of a person; or
- (ii) the structural safety of a building; and
- (b) the person gives written notice of the development or use to the corporation or council as soon as practicable after starting the development or use.
