### sec.7 Establishment of corporation
There shall be established and constituted by this Act a body corporate under the style and title of ‘South Bank Corporation’ which, by that name, shall have perpetual succession and a common seal and shall be capable in law of—
suing and being sued; and
compounding or proving in any court of competent jurisdiction or tribunal all debts or sums of money due to it; and
taking, acquiring by way of grant, purchase, gift, lease or licence, holding, letting (by way of lease or otherwise), dealing with and disposing of real property within the corporation area and personal property of every description; and
doing and suffering all such acts and things as bodies corporate may do and suffer.

- (a) suing and being sued; and
