### sec.51 Lawful uses of premises protected Subsection (2) applies if immediately before the commencement of the approved development plan or an amendment of the approved development plan the use of premises was a lawful use of the premises. Neither the development plan nor the amendment can— stop the use from continuing; or further regulate the use; or require the use to be changed. s 51 ins 2003 No. 24 s 25 (sec.51-ssec.1) Subsection (2) applies if immediately before the commencement of the approved development plan or an amendment of the approved development plan the use of premises was a lawful use of the premises.
