### sec.29 Commissioner to give chief executive information about a person’s identity derived from fingerprints
The Commissioner must give the chief executive information about a person’s identity derived from fingerprints of the person taken under section 27 .
However, the Commissioner must not give information under subsection (1) about a particular person if the Commissioner is reasonably satisfied that giving the information—
may prejudice or otherwise hinder an investigation to which the information may be relevant; or
may affect the safety of a police officer, complainant, informant or other person.

(sec.29-ssec.1) The Commissioner must give the chief executive information about a person’s identity derived from fingerprints of the person taken under section 27 .
(sec.29-ssec.2) However, the Commissioner must not give information under subsection (1) about a particular person if the Commissioner is reasonably satisfied that giving the information— may prejudice or otherwise hinder an investigation to which the information may be relevant; or may affect the safety of a police officer, complainant, informant or other person.
