### sec.9A Use of information obtained under s 8 or 9
This section applies to the chief executive in considering information about a person obtained under section 8 or 9 .
Information about the following may be used only for making a decision as to whether an applicant or licensee is, or continues to be, a suitable person to hold a licence—
a conviction of the person;
if the person is subject to a control order or registered corresponding control order—the control order.
Information about a charge against the person may not be relied on as a basis for making a decision as to whether an applicant or licensee is, or continues to be, a suitable person to hold a licence.

(sec.9A-ssec.1) This section applies to the chief executive in considering information about a person obtained under section 8 or 9 .
(sec.9A-ssec.2) Information about the following may be used only for making a decision as to whether an applicant or licensee is, or continues to be, a suitable person to hold a licence— a conviction of the person; if the person is subject to a control order or registered corresponding control order—the control order.
