### sec.68 Pawnbroker taken to be in possession of property
A pawnbroker is taken to be in possession of property located at a place other than a place stated on a pawnbroker’s licence if—
the property is found in a place occupied by the pawnbroker; or
the property is under the control of the pawnbroker; or
the pawnbroker did not sell the property in good faith and the property has been moved to another place.
Subsection (1) applies unless the contrary is proven.
(sec.68-ssec.1) A pawnbroker is taken to be in possession of property located at a place other than a place stated on a pawnbroker’s licence if— the property is found in a place occupied by the pawnbroker; or the property is under the control of the pawnbroker; or the pawnbroker did not sell the property in good faith and the property has been moved to another place.
(sec.68-ssec.2) Subsection (1) applies unless the contrary is proven.
- (a) the property is found in a place occupied by the pawnbroker; or
- (b) the property is under the control of the pawnbroker; or
- (c) the pawnbroker did not sell the property in good faith and the property has been moved to another place.
