### sch.7-sec.2 Purpose of assistance The purpose of the assistance under the scheme is to provide an eligible entity with essential working capital, by way of a loan, to continue its farming, business or non-profit operations that have been affected by an eligible disaster. However, assistance under the scheme is not intended to compensate eligible entities for loss of income suffered as a result of an eligible disaster.
