### sch.57-sec.49 Deciding applications The authority must consider, and decide to approve or refuse to approve, each application for assistance under a part or division of the scheme. However, the authority does not need to consider an application that does not comply with section 48 (1) . The authority must decide applications in the order they are received by the authority, subject to section 21 . The authority must refuse to approve an application for assistance under a part or division of the scheme if the authority’s assistance funds for the assistance are not sufficient to pay for the assistance.
