### sch.57-sec.18 Eligibility criteria
For an applicant to be eligible to receive assistance under this division in round 1, the applicant—
must hold a class 1 licence; and
must surrender—
a class 2 or 3 fishery symbol written on the licence; or
the applicant’s primary commercial fishing licence; and
must not have received assistance for the same type of fishery symbol under division 1 .
For an applicant to be eligible to receive assistance under this division in round 2, the applicant—
must hold—
a class 2 or 3 licence; or
a primary commercial fishing licence, other than a class 1, 2 or 3 licence; and
must surrender—
a class 2 or 3 fishery symbol written on the licence; or
the applicant’s primary commercial fishing licence.
For the priority in which applications are to be assessed in round 2, see section 21 .
