### sch.47-sec.10 Nature and maximum amount of assistance The nature of the assistance that may be given to an applicant under the scheme is a rebate to offset the cost of an eligible recovery activity. A rebate under the scheme is not available to pay for the cost of direct damage caused by the eligible disaster for which the applicant receives, or is entitled to receive, an amount under an insurance policy.
