### sch.31-sec.2 Definitions
In this schedule—
applicant means a prawn farmer applying for a loan under the scheme.
approved form means a form approved by the authority.
prawn farmer means—
a sole trader who—
spends the majority of his or her labour on a prawn farming primary production enterprise; and
derives the majority of his or her income from the prawn farming primary production enterprise at the time of applying for assistance under the scheme; or
a partnership, proprietary company or trust that carries on a prawn farming primary production enterprise for which the partners, shareholders or beneficiaries—
spend the majority of their labour on the prawn farming primary production enterprise; and
derive the majority of their income from the prawn farming primary production enterprise at the time of applying for assistance under the scheme.
prawn farming primary production enterprise means an aquaculture business—
for which there is an Australian business number; and
that involves the raising and production of prawns—
for human consumption; or
for sale to a prawn farmer.
proprietary company means a proprietary company within the meaning of the Corporations Act .
scheme means the scheme set out in this schedule.
white spot disease means the white spot syndrome virus.

- (a) a sole trader who— (i) spends the majority of his or her labour on a prawn farming primary production enterprise; and (ii) derives the majority of his or her income from the prawn farming primary production enterprise at the time of applying for assistance under the scheme; or
- (i) spends the majority of his or her labour on a prawn farming primary production enterprise; and
- (ii) derives the majority of his or her income from the prawn farming primary production enterprise at the time of applying for assistance under the scheme; or
- (b) a partnership, proprietary company or trust that carries on a prawn farming primary production enterprise for which the partners, shareholders or beneficiaries— (i) spend the majority of their labour on the prawn farming primary production enterprise; and (ii) derive the majority of their income from the prawn farming primary production enterprise at the time of applying for assistance under the scheme.
- (i) spend the majority of their labour on the prawn farming primary production enterprise; and
- (ii) derive the majority of their income from the prawn farming primary production enterprise at the time of applying for assistance under the scheme.
- (i) spends the majority of his or her labour on a prawn farming primary production enterprise; and
- (ii) derives the majority of his or her income from the prawn farming primary production enterprise at the time of applying for assistance under the scheme; or
- (i) spend the majority of their labour on the prawn farming primary production enterprise; and
- (ii) derive the majority of their income from the prawn farming primary production enterprise at the time of applying for assistance under the scheme.
- (a) for which there is an Australian business number; and
- (b) that involves the raising and production of prawns— (i) for human consumption; or (ii) for sale to a prawn farmer.
- (i) for human consumption; or
- (ii) for sale to a prawn farmer.

- (ii) for sale to a prawn farmer.
