### sec.38 Disclosure of interests
This section applies to an officer of the authority if—
the officer, or a person who, under the regulations, is related to the officer, has a direct or indirect financial interest in an issue being decided, or about to be decided by the authority (whether or not under a delegation from the authority); and
the interest could conflict with the proper performance of the officer’s duties about the decision.
As soon as practicable after the officer becomes aware of the facts causing this section to apply to the officer, the officer must disclose the nature of the interest to the authority.
(sec.38-ssec.1) This section applies to an officer of the authority if— the officer, or a person who, under the regulations, is related to the officer, has a direct or indirect financial interest in an issue being decided, or about to be decided by the authority (whether or not under a delegation from the authority); and the interest could conflict with the proper performance of the officer’s duties about the decision.
(sec.38-ssec.2) As soon as practicable after the officer becomes aware of the facts causing this section to apply to the officer, the officer must disclose the nature of the interest to the authority.
