### sec.36 Authority staff
The authority may engage the employees it considers necessary to perform its functions.
The authority may decide its employees’ conditions of employment.
However, subsection (2) has effect subject to any relevant industrial instrument.
The authority’s employees are to be employed under this Act, and not under the Public Sector Act 2022 .
In subsection (2) —
conditions of employment includes conditions about duration of the employment and ending the employment.
