### sec.16CA Acting chairperson The Minister may appoint any director of the board to act as the chairperson of the board during— any vacancy, or all vacancies, in the position; or any period, or all periods, when the chairperson is absent from duty, or can not, for another reason, perform the chairperson’s responsibilities.
