### sec.41 Replacement certificate of incorporation
This section applies if a bishop in whose diocese or archdiocese, an incorporated church entity is functioning—
is satisfied that the entity’s certificate of incorporation is lost or destroyed; and
gives the chief executive a certificate stating the fact.
This section also applies if the Corporation of the Bishops—
is satisfied that an incorporated church entity’s certificate of incorporation is lost or destroyed; and
gives the chief executive a certificate stating the fact.
The chief executive may issue a replacement certificate of incorporation for the incorporated church entity.
The chief executive must give the certificate to the Corporation of the Bishops.
(sec.41-ssec.1) This section applies if a bishop in whose diocese or archdiocese, an incorporated church entity is functioning— is satisfied that the entity’s certificate of incorporation is lost or destroyed; and gives the chief executive a certificate stating the fact.
(sec.41-ssec.2) This section also applies if the Corporation of the Bishops— is satisfied that an incorporated church entity’s certificate of incorporation is lost or destroyed; and gives the chief executive a certificate stating the fact.
(sec.41-ssec.3) The chief executive may issue a replacement certificate of incorporation for the incorporated church entity.
(sec.41-ssec.4) The chief executive must give the certificate to the Corporation of the Bishops.
- (a) is satisfied that the entity’s certificate of incorporation is lost or destroyed; and
- (b) gives the chief executive a certificate stating the fact.
