### sec.82A Meaning of internal review processing period
The internal review processing period , for an internal review application, is the total of—
a period of 20 business days from the valid application day for the application; and
each additional period mentioned in column 2 of the following table for a circumstance mentioned in column 1 applying to the application.

Before the end of the internal review processing period for the internal review application, the agency or Minister may ask the applicant for internal review for a further specified period to consider the application.
A request under subsection (2) may be made more than once.
In this section—
valid application day , for an internal review application, means the day on which the application complies with all matters set out in section 82 that are required for the application.

(sec.82A-ssec.2) Before the end of the internal review processing period for the internal review application, the agency or Minister may ask the applicant for internal review for a further specified period to consider the application.
(sec.82A-ssec.3) A request under subsection (2) may be made more than once.
(sec.82A-ssec.4) In this section— valid application day , for an internal review application, means the day on which the application complies with all matters set out in section 82 that are required for the application.
- (a) a period of 20 business days from the valid application day for the application; and
- (b) each additional period mentioned in column 2 of the following table for a circumstance mentioned in column 1 applying to the application.
