### sec.182 Official documents in Queensland State Archives
For the purposes of this Act, a document that—
has been placed in the custody of the Queensland State Archives by an agency (whether before or after the commencement of this section); and
is not reasonably available for inspection under the Public Records Act 2023 ;
is taken to be in the agency’s possession, or, if the agency no longer exists, to be in the possession of the agency whose functions are most closely related to the document, if the agency is entitled to access to the document.
For the purposes of this Act, a document that has been placed by an agency (including the Queensland State Archives) in a place of deposit, as permitted under the Libraries Act 1988 , the repealed Public Records Act 2002 or the Public Records Act 2023 (whether before or after the commencement of this part), is taken to be in the agency’s possession, or, if the agency no longer exists, the agency whose functions are most closely related to the document, if the agency is entitled to access to the document.

- (a) has been placed in the custody of the Queensland State Archives by an agency (whether before or after the commencement of this section); and
- (b) is not reasonably available for inspection under the Public Records Act 2023 ;
