### sec.175 Direction to act in particular way
A person must not give a direction, either orally or in writing to a person required or permitted to make a decision under this Act directing the person to make a decision the person believes is not the decision that should be made under this Act.
Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.
Subsection (1) does not apply to the information commissioner or a person authorised by the commissioner in relation to a direction that may be given to a member of the staff of the OIC under section 146 .
A person must not give a direction, either orally or in writing to—
a person who is an employee or officer of the agency involved in a matter under this Act; or
an employee of a Minister involved in a matter under this Act;
directing the person to act contrary to the requirements of this Act.
