### sch.2-sec.49 Tenant’s forwarding address— s 205
When handing over possession of the premises, the tenant must, if the lessor or lessor’s agent asks the tenant in writing to state the tenant’s new residential address, tell the lessor or lessor’s agent the tenant’s new residential address.
However, subclause (1) does not apply if—
the tenant has a reasonable excuse for not telling the lessor or lessor’s agent the new address; or
after experiencing domestic violence, the tenant ended the tenant’s interest in this agreement, under chapter 5 , part 1 , division 3 , subdivision 2A of the Act .
