### sch.2-sec.11-oc.2 Application to tribunal about rent increase— s 92
After the lessor gives the tenant notice of a proposed rent increase, the tenant may apply to the tribunal for an order reducing or setting aside the amount of the proposed increase if the tenant believes the increase—
is excessive; or
is not payable under clause 10.
However, the application must be made—
within 30 days after the tenant receives the notice; and
if this agreement is a fixed term agreement—before the term of this agreement ends.
(sch.2-sec.11-oc.2-ssec.1) After the lessor gives the tenant notice of a proposed rent increase, the tenant may apply to the tribunal for an order reducing or setting aside the amount of the proposed increase if the tenant believes the increase— is excessive; or is not payable under clause 10.
(sch.2-sec.11-oc.2-ssec.2) However, the application must be made— within 30 days after the tenant receives the notice; and if this agreement is a fixed term agreement—before the term of this agreement ends.
