### sec.98 How rent is to be paid
A resident must pay the rent in a way stated in the rooming accommodation agreement.
The provider or provider’s agent must ensure—
the rooming accommodation agreement states at least 2 ways for the resident to pay the rent; and
at least 1 of the ways for the resident to pay rent stated in the agreement—
does not incur any cost to the resident in addition to bank fees or other account fees usually payable for the resident’s transactions; and
is reasonably available to the resident.
This section applies subject to sections 99 and 99A .

(sec.98-ssec.1) A resident must pay the rent in a way stated in the rooming accommodation agreement.
