### sec.85 Where rent to be paid If the place for payment of rent is stated in an agreement, the tenant must pay the rent at the place stated. However, if, after signing the agreement, the lessor gives the tenant a written notice stating a place, or a different place, as the place at which rent is required to be paid and the place is reasonable, the tenant must pay the rent at the place stated in the notice while the notice is in force. If the place for payment of rent is not stated, the tenant must pay the rent at an appropriate place. (sec.85-ssec.1) If the place for payment of rent is stated in an agreement, the tenant must pay the rent at the place stated.
