### sec.66 Condition report at end of tenancy
This section—
applies if a tenant’s right to occupy premises ends when a residential tenancy agreement ends; and
does not apply if the tenant’s right to occupy the premises continues under another residential tenancy agreement.
The tenant must, on or before the day the residential tenancy agreement ends—
prepare, in the approved form, a condition report for the premises and any inclusions; and
sign the condition report; and
as soon as practicable after the agreement ends, give a copy of the condition report to the lessor or agent.
The lessor or agent must, within 3 business days after receiving the copy of the condition report—
sign the copy of the condition report; and
if the lessor or agent does not agree with the condition report—show the parts of the condition report the lessor or agent disagrees with by marking the copy of the condition report in an appropriate way; and
if the tenant has given a forwarding address to the lessor or agent—make a copy of the condition report and return it to the tenant at the address.
The lessor or agent must keep a copy of the condition report signed by both parties for at least 1 year after the agreement ends.
