### sec.586 Existing residential tenancy agreements including term about paying reletting costs
This section applies if—
a residential tenancy agreement entered into before the commencement includes a term requiring a tenant to pay the reasonable costs incurred by the lessor in reletting the premises; and
the requirements under former section 357A(1) were otherwise met in relation to the term.
The term is taken to comply with new section 357A(1).

(sec.586-ssec.1) This section applies if— a residential tenancy agreement entered into before the commencement includes a term requiring a tenant to pay the reasonable costs incurred by the lessor in reletting the premises; and the requirements under former section 357A(1) were otherwise met in relation to the term.
(sec.586-ssec.2) The term is taken to comply with new section 357A(1).
- (a) a residential tenancy agreement entered into before the commencement includes a term requiring a tenant to pay the reasonable costs incurred by the lessor in reletting the premises; and
- (b) the requirements under former section 357A(1) were otherwise met in relation to the term.
