### sec.539 Continuation of appointment of executive officer The executive officer of the employing office immediately before the commencement continues as the executive officer of the employing office for the balance of the executive officer’s term of appointment by the Governor in Council. The executive officer continues to be appointed under this Act and not under the Public Service Act 2008 .
