### sec.535 Continuation of appointment of chief executive officer The chief executive officer of the authority immediately before the commencement continues as the chief executive officer of the authority for the balance of the chief executive officer’s term of appointment by the Governor in Council. The chief executive officer continues to hold office on the conditions fixed by the authority. The chief executive officer continues to be appointed under this Act and not under the Public Service Act 2008 . (sec.535-ssec.1) The chief executive officer of the authority immediately before the commencement continues as the chief executive officer of the authority for the balance of the chief executive officer’s term of appointment by the Governor in Council. (sec.535-ssec.2) The chief executive officer continues to hold office on the conditions fixed by the authority. (sec.535-ssec.3) The chief executive officer continues to be appointed under this Act and not under the Public Service Act 2008 .
