### sec.474 Duration of appointment
The appointment of a director is for the term (not longer than 3 years) decided by the Governor in Council.
The office of a director becomes vacant if—
the director resigns by signed notice of resignation given to the Minister; or
the director is found guilty of an indictable offence or an offence against this Act; or
the director becomes—
an employee of the employing office or of another government entity performing work for the authority under a work performance arrangement; or
an employee or contractor of the authority; or
the director’s appointment is ended by the Governor in Council under subsection (3) .
The Governor in Council may, at any time, end the appointment of a director for any reason or none.

- (b) the director is found guilty of an indictable offence or an offence against this Act; or
- (c) the director becomes— (i) an employee of the employing office or of another government entity performing work for the authority under a work performance arrangement; or (ii) an employee or contractor of the authority; or
- (i) an employee of the employing office or of another government entity performing work for the authority under a work performance arrangement; or
- (ii) an employee or contractor of the authority; or
- (d) the director’s appointment is ended by the Governor in Council under subsection (3) .
- (i) an employee of the employing office or of another government entity performing work for the authority under a work performance arrangement; or
- (ii) an employee or contractor of the authority; or
