### sec.457B Extra-territorial application of particular provisions of ch 9
This section applies if—
a person does an act, or makes an omission, outside the State in relation to—
the personal information of another person who resides in the State; or
premises located within the State; and
the act or omission would constitute an offence against a provision of this chapter if it were done or made by the person within the State.
The person who does the act or makes the omission is guilty of an offence of the same kind and is liable to the same punishment as if the act or omission had happened in the State.
This section does not limit the Criminal Code , sections 12 to 14 .

(sec.457B-ssec.1) This section applies if— a person does an act, or makes an omission, outside the State in relation to— the personal information of another person who resides in the State; or premises located within the State; and the act or omission would constitute an offence against a provision of this chapter if it were done or made by the person within the State.
(sec.457B-ssec.2) The person who does the act or makes the omission is guilty of an offence of the same kind and is liable to the same punishment as if the act or omission had happened in the State.
(sec.457B-ssec.3) This section does not limit the Criminal Code , sections 12 to 14 .
- (a) a person does an act, or makes an omission, outside the State in relation to— (i) the personal information of another person who resides in the State; or (ii) premises located within the State; and
- (i) the personal information of another person who resides in the State; or
- (ii) premises located within the State; and
- (b) the act or omission would constitute an offence against a provision of this chapter if it were done or made by the person within the State.
- (i) the personal information of another person who resides in the State; or
- (ii) premises located within the State; and
