### sec.396 Application to tribunal about lost property
This section applies if the person entitled to the lost property is dissatisfied with the way the provider has dealt with it or is dealing with it.
The person may apply to a tribunal for an order under this section.
On an application under this section, the tribunal may—
make an order requiring the provider to pay to the person an amount it considers appropriate as compensation for any loss or expense incurred by the person because of the provider’s action in dealing with the property; or
make any other order it considers appropriate.
(sec.396-ssec.1) This section applies if the person entitled to the lost property is dissatisfied with the way the provider has dealt with it or is dealing with it.
