### sec.381F Top ups of rental bond
This section applies in relation to a rooming accommodation agreement if—
the amount held by the authority for the rental bond for the agreement is less than the amount of the rental bond required under the agreement; and
the shortfall mentioned in paragraph (a) occurred because a resident’s interest in the agreement ended under section 381E (2) ; and
all of the remaining residents for the agreement have been given a continuing interest notice under section 381E (3) .
The remaining residents must top up the rental bond within 1 month after the last of the remaining residents is given the continuing interest notice.
The remaining residents top up the rental bond by paying an amount to the provider that restores the rental bond to the full amount required under the rooming accommodation agreement.

(sec.381F-ssec.1) This section applies in relation to a rooming accommodation agreement if— the amount held by the authority for the rental bond for the agreement is less than the amount of the rental bond required under the agreement; and the shortfall mentioned in paragraph (a) occurred because a resident’s interest in the agreement ended under section 381E (2) ; and all of the remaining residents for the agreement have been given a continuing interest notice under section 381E (3) .
(sec.381F-ssec.2) The remaining residents must top up the rental bond within 1 month after the last of the remaining residents is given the continuing interest notice.
(sec.381F-ssec.3) The remaining residents top up the rental bond by paying an amount to the provider that restores the rental bond to the full amount required under the rooming accommodation agreement.
- (a) the amount held by the authority for the rental bond for the agreement is less than the amount of the rental bond required under the agreement; and
- (b) the shortfall mentioned in paragraph (a) occurred because a resident’s interest in the agreement ended under section 381E (2) ; and
- (c) all of the remaining residents for the agreement have been given a continuing interest notice under section 381E (3) .
