### sec.308F Top ups of rental bond
This section applies in relation to a residential tenancy agreement if—
the amount held by the authority for the rental bond for the agreement is less than the amount of the rental bond required under the agreement; and
the shortfall mentioned in paragraph (a) occurred because a tenant’s interest in the agreement ended under section 308E (2) ; and
all of the remaining tenants for the agreement have been given a continuing interest notice under section 308E (3) .
The remaining tenants must top up the rental bond within 1 month after the last of the remaining tenants is given the continuing interest notice.
The remaining tenants top up the rental bond by paying an amount to the lessor that restores the rental bond to the full amount required under the residential tenancy agreement.

(sec.308F-ssec.1) This section applies in relation to a residential tenancy agreement if— the amount held by the authority for the rental bond for the agreement is less than the amount of the rental bond required under the agreement; and the shortfall mentioned in paragraph (a) occurred because a tenant’s interest in the agreement ended under section 308E (2) ; and all of the remaining tenants for the agreement have been given a continuing interest notice under section 308E (3) .
(sec.308F-ssec.2) The remaining tenants must top up the rental bond within 1 month after the last of the remaining tenants is given the continuing interest notice.
(sec.308F-ssec.3) The remaining tenants top up the rental bond by paying an amount to the lessor that restores the rental bond to the full amount required under the residential tenancy agreement.
- (a) the amount held by the authority for the rental bond for the agreement is less than the amount of the rental bond required under the agreement; and
- (b) the shortfall mentioned in paragraph (a) occurred because a tenant’s interest in the agreement ended under section 308E (2) ; and
- (c) all of the remaining tenants for the agreement have been given a continuing interest notice under section 308E (3) .
