### sec.154 Increase in rental bond
The tenant or resident must increase a rental bond if—
the rent payable under the residential tenancy agreement or rooming accommodation agreement increases; and

the lessor or provider gives written notice to the tenant or resident to increase the rental bond; and
the notice is given at least 11 months after—
the residential tenancy agreement or rooming accommodation agreement started; or
if the rental bond has been increased previously following the giving of a notice under this section—the day stated in the notice, or the last notice, for making the increase; and
the notice states the day by which the increase must be made; and
the day stated is at least 1 month after the tenant or resident is given the notice about the increase.
