### sec.122 Continuance of rental bond
This section applies if—
the authority holds a rental bond for a residential tenancy agreement or a rooming accommodation agreement; and
the agreement ends; and
either—
the tenant continues occupying the premises under another agreement (the renewal agreement ) with the lessor; or
the resident continues occupying a room in the rental premises under another agreement (also the renewal agreement ) with the provider; and
the authority does not receive an application for payment of the rental bond.
The rental bond is taken to be a rental bond for the renewal agreement.

(sec.122-ssec.1) This section applies if— the authority holds a rental bond for a residential tenancy agreement or a rooming accommodation agreement; and the agreement ends; and either— the tenant continues occupying the premises under another agreement (the renewal agreement ) with the lessor; or the resident continues occupying a room in the rental premises under another agreement (also the renewal agreement ) with the provider; and the authority does not receive an application for payment of the rental bond.
(sec.122-ssec.2) The rental bond is taken to be a rental bond for the renewal agreement.
- (a) the authority holds a rental bond for a residential tenancy agreement or a rooming accommodation agreement; and
- (b) the agreement ends; and
- (c) either— (i) the tenant continues occupying the premises under another agreement (the renewal agreement ) with the lessor; or (ii) the resident continues occupying a room in the rental premises under another agreement (also the renewal agreement ) with the provider; and
- (i) the tenant continues occupying the premises under another agreement (the renewal agreement ) with the lessor; or
- (ii) the resident continues occupying a room in the rental premises under another agreement (also the renewal agreement ) with the provider; and
- (d) the authority does not receive an application for payment of the rental bond.
