71M Effect of assignment (1) This section applies if an assignor assigns their interest under a residential park agreement to an assignee. (2) The assignor’s interest in any security deposit paid under the agreement is also assigned to the assignee. (3) From the day of the assignment— (a) the assignee is taken to be substituted for the assignor under the residential park agreement, including for the purposes of any security deposit; and (b) the assignor remains liable for any liabilities incurred under the agreement before the day of the assignment.
