35FPayment of bond by new co-tenant

35F Payment of bond by new co-tenant
(a) a person (the new co-tenant) becomes a new co-tenant under a
residential tenancy agreement under section 35C, section 35D
or section 35E; and
(b) a bond is held in relation to the agreement; and
(c) 1 or more of the other co-tenants (the other co-tenants) continue
to be a tenant under the agreement.
(2) The new co-tenant must, not more than 14 days after the day they
become a co-tenant under the residential tenancy agreement—
(a) pay to the other co-tenants the new co-tenant’s share of the bond
under the agreement; and
(b) notify the Territory that the new co-tenant has paid their share
of the bond.
35FA Payment of bond by new co-tenant—consecutive tenancy
(a) a person (the new co-tenant) becomes a co-tenant under a
consecutive tenancy agreement; and
(b) a bond is held in relation to the residential tenancy agreement
that terminates or is terminated; and
(c) section 22 (3) applies to the bond in relation to the consecutive
