### sec.31 Period of licence
A licence—
comes into force on the day specified in the licence, or if no day is specified, on the day on which it is issued; and
remains in force until the day specified in the licence, unless it is suspended, revoked or surrendered before that day.
A licence is not in force throughout any period of suspension.
(sec.31-ssec.1) A licence— comes into force on the day specified in the licence, or if no day is specified, on the day on which it is issued; and remains in force until the day specified in the licence, unless it is suspended, revoked or surrendered before that day.
