### sec.44 Correction of minor errors If a provision of a law contains a minor error, the provision may be expressed in a different way so as to correct the error. ‘licence’ may replace ‘license’ if used as a noun. In the following provision, the bolded word may be omitted— ‘The chairperson is to be the executive officer of the the Board.’. In the following provision, the bracketed word may be inserted where indicated— ‘The chairperson is to be the executive officer of (the) Board.’.
