### sec.11 Regulated activities
For the Act , section 17 (1) (b) , each of the following is a regulated activity for a strategic environmental area—
broadacre cropping;
water storage (dam).
Broadacre cropping is the cultivation of extensive parcels of land under dryland or irrigated management for cropping.
Water storage (dam) is storing water using a dam, other than storing water on land to be used only for any or all of the following purposes—
to meet the domestic water needs of the occupants of the land;
to water the stock that is usually grazed on the land;
to water stock that is travelling on a stock route on or near the land.
