### sec.93 Protection of officials from liability
An official does not incur civil liability for an act done, or omission made, honestly and without negligence under this Act.
If subsection (1) prevents a civil liability attaching to an official, the liability instead attaches to the State.
In this section—
official means any of the following—
the Minister;
the chief executive;
an assessing agency.
(sec.93-ssec.1) An official does not incur civil liability for an act done, or omission made, honestly and without negligence under this Act.
(sec.93-ssec.2) If subsection (1) prevents a civil liability attaching to an official, the liability instead attaches to the State.
(sec.93-ssec.3) In this section— official means any of the following— the Minister; the chief executive; an assessing agency.
- (a) the Minister;
- (b) the chief executive;
- (c) an assessing agency.
