### sec.89 Ministerial direction to investigate The Minister may, by notice, direct the relevant chief executive to cause an authorised person to exercise the person’s functions under section 86 , 87 or 88 in relation to a stated matter related to ensuring compliance with this Act. The department’s annual report must include details of each direction given under this section during the year.
