### sec.23 Exemption—activity carried out for less than 1 year A resource activity is an exempt resource activity for a priority agricultural area or area in the strategic cropping area if the activity is being carried out— on a property in the area; and within the period of 1 year starting on the day the first activity under the resource authority started to be carried out on the property. - (a) on a property in the area; and - (b) within the period of 1 year starting on the day the first activity under the resource authority started to be carried out on the property.
