### sec.80 Displaying referendum statements in certain places
A person must not, during a referendum period, display a referendum statement—
inside a room with voting compartments; or
within 6m of the entrance to a building with voting compartments.
Maximum penalty—1 penalty unit.
In this section—
referendum statement means a statement or design that a reasonable person would associate with the approval or disapproval of the Bill or question submitted to the electors.
(sec.80-ssec.1) A person must not, during a referendum period, display a referendum statement— inside a room with voting compartments; or within 6m of the entrance to a building with voting compartments. Maximum penalty—1 penalty unit.
