### sec.21 Requirements for carrying passengers
A person must not ride or travel in or on something being towed by a moving motor vehicle in a recreation area.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
A person must not carry a passenger, or travel as a passenger, on a relevant motor vehicle in a recreation area other than on a passenger seat for the vehicle.

In this section—
relevant motor vehicle means each of the following—
a motorbike under the Transport Operations (Road Use Management) Act 1995 , schedule 4 ;
a quad bike under the Queensland Road Rules, schedule 5 ;
a utility off-road vehicle under the Queensland Road Rules, schedule 5 .
