### sec.66 Surrendering permits
The holder of a permit may surrender it by returning it and giving written notice of surrender to the chief executive.
A permit surrendered under subsection (1) no longer has effect from—
the day for surrender stated in the notice; or
if paragraph (a) does not apply—the day the notice is received.
(sec.66-ssec.1) The holder of a permit may surrender it by returning it and giving written notice of surrender to the chief executive.
(sec.66-ssec.2) A permit surrendered under subsection (1) no longer has effect from— the day for surrender stated in the notice; or if paragraph (a) does not apply—the day the notice is received.
- (a) the day for surrender stated in the notice; or
- (b) if paragraph (a) does not apply—the day the notice is received.
