### sec.229 Immunity from prosecution
An authorised person is not liable to be prosecuted for an offence against this Act for anything done or omitted to be done in the exercise of a power or performance of a function conferred or imposed on the authorised person under this Act.
A person acting under the direction of the Minister, chief executive or an authorised officer is not liable to be prosecuted for an offence against this Act for anything done or omitted to be done under the direction.
In this section—
authorised person means—
the chief executive; or
an authorised officer; or
an officer or other employee of the department acting under the chief executive’s authority.
(sec.229-ssec.1) An authorised person is not liable to be prosecuted for an offence against this Act for anything done or omitted to be done in the exercise of a power or performance of a function conferred or imposed on the authorised person under this Act.
(sec.229-ssec.2) A person acting under the direction of the Minister, chief executive or an authorised officer is not liable to be prosecuted for an offence against this Act for anything done or omitted to be done under the direction.
(sec.229-ssec.3) In this section— authorised person means— the chief executive; or an authorised officer; or an officer or other employee of the department acting under the chief executive’s authority.
