### sec.175 Tampering with seized things
If an authorised officer restricts access to a seized thing, a person must not tamper or attempt to tamper with it, or something restricting access to it, without an authorised officer’s approval.
Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.
If an authorised officer or a person acting at the officer’s direction makes seized equipment inoperable, a person must not tamper or attempt to tamper with the equipment, without an authorised officer’s approval.
