### sec.108 Unlawful camping
A person must not camp in a recreation area unless authorised by a camping permit, organised event permit, commercial activity permit or commercial activity agreement.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
However, subsection (1) does not apply if—
a corresponding authority authorises the person to camp in an area that is also a recreation area and the person complies with the authority and the Act under which the authority was issued; or
the person is camping in a vessel anchored or moored below low water mark in the area.
The holder of a camping permit must not allow more people to camp under the permit than the number authorised under the permit.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
A person must not camp in a recreation area contrary to a regulatory notice.
Maximum penalty—80 penalty units.
