### sec.84 Exemption from requirement for possession licence and particular approvals— Act , s 210 For section 210 of the Act , a radioactive substance containing the radionuclide americium-241, hydrogen-3 or nickel-63 is exempt from sections 12 , 23 , 24 and 25 of the Act if— the radioactive substance is incorporated in a sealed source apparatus; and the apparatus is used for gas chromatography or ion mobility spectrometry. - (a) the radioactive substance is incorporated in a sealed source apparatus; and - (b) the apparatus is used for gas chromatography or ion mobility spectrometry.
